There"s a large scale of green land near our neighborhood in Zhabei District, Shanghai. That is Zhabei Park which famous mainly for its natural scenery. The park starts from Pingxingguan Rd of the east and to the New Gonghe Rd of the west. It nears Yanchang Rd on the north and to the East Luochuan Rd of the south.

Zhabei Park was built in 1913, known as Mr.Song(Jiaoren)"s Tomb. It extents about 188 mu(13.35 hectares) and includs almost ten of thounsand trees that various kinds of rare spieces. Such as champher tree, banana tree, gingko, maple, corn poppy, magnolia, plane tree, white pine, and many other evergreen. And grasses and flowers are living there as well as. There"s a giant teapot which gilded with gold just outside the southwest gate of the park. The statues of Luyu and Shennong who famous ancient Chinese great force both stand inside the park.

Mr.Song Jiaoren who used to be one of leading revolutionary leaders of KMT, a martyr was buried in the park. It includes an Ancient Stage, Chunlai Teahouse, a Jvxiange, and seven bridges and eight povilions. Hills and ponds are scattering in the park. Bamboo forest, woods, lawns and flowers nearly covered everywhere. Every time on April, there will be held the Chinese Tea Culture Festival of the city here once a year. The environment is quite good. Fresh air, cleaning ground, and many friendly people.Fish and turtles are swimming in the water you can see. Birds here are not afraid of people at all. They sing, fly, and simply prey carelessly in the front of people.

Early in the morning, thousands of citizens , especially senior citizens are there for fresh air, free chatting and do exercise. Some of them are chatting, or playing with their babies seating on the wooden benches that fixed on both sides of the roads that in the pavilions under the trees especially prepared for visitors. Some are walking along with the twisted paths through the woods. Some are playing Tai Chi, the Chinese Kungfu. Some are singing sons and dancing or waving color fans or swords accompanying the music together. There is also someone who playing cards, chesses and the musical instruments. Some are playing badmintons against each other. Some are discussing the skill about dancing, Kungfu, and photography. A photographer is showing his masterpiece about the panorama photo of the Bund which took on the Huangpu River to the public and speaking continuously in Shanghai local language that I understand that even more difficult than English. He said he"ll take an photo around the river in the boat in the future.

Fishermen are catching fish around the pool that"s surrounded by strange stones. One of them got a big enough fish which cannot move after put it into a plastic bucket. Two egrets are just stood near a fisherman. They wanted to eat something that the man does not want. A photographer"s searching one of the egrets" prey processing uses the camera. Look, one of the egrets is standing on the pavilion and observing.

This situation is just like a fine picture of the southeastern China. Here is full of atmosphere of tune and sight that harmony between human beings and nature.
