Countryside Lanes to West of BeijingLonely farms, villages, country roads and windy ridges Description: This is a countryside hike that passes through farmland and orchards in Mentougou Countryside, on the way up to a ridge where you can enjoy a wonderful view. The trail continues downward, to a village where we usually stop for a snack break, then up again past a farm to the hill trail and the second ridge. After the enjoying view from the second ridge we will walk down to the large village where we will finish our hike. This walk is mainly on a wide trail and the climbing to the ridges is not too difficult.
